I had a blast with this family and all their adventurous little guys (and who can resist all those little towheaded boys?!) ! We spent the session traipsing through the woods on their property (where it was thankfully much cooler than the 100* out in the open!), and 6 year old {I} was a great location scout for the next photo spot 4 year old {A} was so proud of “Strangey” the rooster, of course I had to include a shot with him too!  To 8yo {J}, despite your best efforts not to give in, we do have a few with you and a real smile

Even though this one was before they realized I was snapping away, I LOVE their chemistry and facial expressions!  I would have guessed they were newlyweds instead of celebrating their 10th anniversary this weekend!  Happy 10 years!

I was lucky enough to experience the joy these little girls bring first hand yesterday afternoon! Thanks to a “super nap”, they were in great spirits and such a pleasure to photograph! It didn’t hurt that their parents {M} and {C} were fantastic company and we had a great time chatting while we waited for the sleeping beauties to wake up

Despite a few tumbles, a chilly wind, and my 7 month pregnant self losing horribly in a foot race with 6 1/2 year old {A}, the {G} family and I had a great afternoon downtown today!  These little ones have so much personality and such sweet parents, they were a joy to photograph!  Little brother and dad are going to have their work cut out for them, defending these girls from the swarm of boys sure to descend upon their house in a few years!  Mom is a magician with cakes– I can’t wait to call on her for one from her fabulous bakery

I really enjoyed meeting little miss {M} and her fabulous parents!  She is 3 months old, and really got a kick out of making the big people jump through hoops for her entertainment    Thank you so much for having me into your home and sharing your little one with me, and I will let you know when your gallery is ready!

I had the pleasure of meeting the {M} family this afternoon on the grounds of UVA!  The littlest member of the family was so full of spunk and adorable cheeky grins, despite having just finished a long car trip!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek, and I will let you know when your gallery is ready!

I had so much fun at the stables today with this bunch!  The little guys, {L} and {J} had me cracking up the entire time!  The gallery will have some cameo apperances by the horses, they wanted desperately to be invovled too (we had the most fun with the one that nodded yes at everything we said!)!

I got to see one of my favorite 3 month old clients again today for her 6 month session!  She has grown so much in the last 3 months, and has quite the personality! Those gorgeous blues are as striking as ever, and that gummy smile paired with the baby chub legs almost made me want to stay and just play with her all day! The little stinker gave the best smiles when she was looking “upside down”!

Well, even after last night’s storms we decided to brave the sogginess of the park for this morning’s session with {E} and {L} I’m so glad we did, I had a great time with these two girls and their fabulous parents! Little {L} was not having the most coordinated day of her short life, but once we figured out she LOVED to roar like a lion she recovered much more quickly from all her stumbles! {E} was such a great assistant once we were done with her pictures, I am seriously considering hiring her to be the official duck puppeteer!

Little {L} sure gave us a run for our money, practicing her diva skills (who can blame her really, it was hot out there!) She is such a gorgeous baby, with those big blue eyes and pouty bottom lip, it was impossible not to be totally taken with her anyway We got a few big smiles, but they had to be on her terms!
